Onam Sadhya
Onam Sadhya is a traditional vegetarian feast from Kerala, served on a banana leaf to celebrate the harvest festival. Each dish offers a harmonious blend of flavors, textures, and colors.
The leaf is placed with the tip pointing left. If preferred, a plate can be provided. The meal follows a set order: salt, banana chips (upperis), and pickles at the top left; assorted vegetable dishes in the center; and rice with sambar and gravies on the right. The feast ends with a sweet serving of payasam.
